70,000 customers each year visit our cafés because of the quality of the coffee & food. It just ‘so happens’ that they may leave with a different perception of ‘disability’ too: our two social enterprise cafés are co-staffed by trainees with learning disabilities. At Yellow Submarine we believe people with Learning Disabilities and Autism deserve to live life to the full and our café traineeships are one way we deliver our ambition. We serve delicious ‘Life Changing Bakes’ made on site by our team of trainee bakers, as well as fresh sandwiches, toasties, soup and salads – and of course great coffee and tea.
